Celtic Concerts Cancelled Due to Potential Health Risks – March 14th & 17th
The Board of the Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir (after considering the recommendations of the Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and the decision of the Celtic Fest Committee to suspend the festival for this year) has voted to cancel the Celtic concerts scheduled for March 14th and 17th in consideration of the health concerns and risks to our audience and members. The choir will attempt to reschedule the concerts for later dates in the Spring, if and when the current situation around the Covid-19 virus has passed.
Patrons who currently have purchased tickets should hold on to them or their receipts for now and await further announcements on our website in the next few days. Please consider donating your tickets to the VWMC. As a not-for-profit charitable organization, we rely heavily on the support of donors and single-ticket buyers. This support is crucial to the choir’s existence, and we could see significant losses due to the impact of COVID-19.
