Ready to discover the joy of singing with us? The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir is always looking for new members who want to be part of something special.
We are an auditioned choir that welcomes men who enjoy choral music and can carry a tune. Formal musical training or the ability to read music is not required—our diverse group of members from all backgrounds shows that enthusiasm and commitment are what matter most.
We sing a broad range of traditional and contemporary music, including Celtic favorites that honor our heritage. Whether you’re looking for friendship, musical growth, or simply a place to belong, you’ll find it here.
As a member, you’ll attend weekly rehearsals and have the opportunity to perform at approximately 10 concerts throughout the year. We also encourage members to practice music on their own between rehearsals—don’t worry, we’ll help you learn!
“I thoroughly enjoy the quality of instruction and leadership, the opportunity to participate in music-making, the camaraderie of the choir members, and the reward of a good performance.” — Member
